Project overview
SpotIt is a product discovery platform designed to help users research products, find recommendations that match their requirements and compare alternatives without spending hours browsing different sources.

Implementation
Built with Next.js and Tailwind CSS. Google Gemini powers the AI features, while Firebase handles saved product data. NextAuth provides authentication, and Axios manages API requests. Next.js API routes handle the backend functionality.
Development challenges
I worked through responsive horizontal product lists, TypeScript type issues, API integration, authentication and deployment errors. One notable challenge was fixing content wrapping in the product comparison interface on smaller screens.
